Q – What kind of soil is your grass grown on?
A – Our soils vary a bit but are mostly about 75% sand with the balance being silt and clay. It seems to match up very well with heavy clay and sandy soils, offering a bit of each for every application.

Q – Are your grasses certified?
A – All of our golf quality grass varieties are certified, registered or even foundation .

Q – Can you no-till plant MiniVerde?
A – No-till planting is not limited to any particular variety of ultradwarf or even bermudagrass for that matter. MiniVerde has been planted successfully on numerous golf courses throughout the country. No-till planting has been so successful largely because the existing organic layer that is planted into is very efficient in holding water and nutrients which are so essential to sprig success.

Q – Do you have nematode assays available from your fields?
A – Yes, and we are clean like no other. We are proud to be nematode free and are happy to run new tests or let you come here to take samples and run your own.

A – Prior to harvest the Tifway 419 is managed at about 5/8”. We do offer a special order shorter cut for fringes and tees that is closer to 3/8”.

Q – What sorts of cuts do your grasses come in?
A – We sell our grasses in 16”x 24” slabs, 21”x 5’ mini rolls and big rolls that are 42” x 100’. We also sell and install sprigs for golf turf applications.
